Applications are processed on Friday evenings GMT. If you submit an application during the weekend it may be processed during that time but no promises are made. We don't have an "Applications open" or "Applications are closed" because no one likes the apprehension of waiting for a decision.

Our Test Drive Meme is here.

Please fill in the below form. If at any point you need help with an application, please email the mods at londonlost.rpg[at]gmail.com or send a PM.

You can post your application to your character journal and link back in a comment, or you can post your application here in the comments. Comments are screened.

Here is a handy guide for what we are looking for:

Character Details:

Character name: [Please include any aliases they would be known as in game]
Fandom/Series/OC: [You can link to a wiki page here if you like to give us more information about the world your character comes from.]

History: [Please link to a good wiki page about your character. If they are an Original Character, we would like at least three good-sized paragraphs about where they are from, their world, what and who they are. You can combine this with their personality section if you want to.]
Personality: [This is the important bit. Tell us everything. At least three good paragraphs about what makes your character who they are, why they do the things they do. If we ask you to expand on points, don't be worried, we just want to know more about your character and how they will fit into the game!]

Specialist skills: [Have they had any survival experience, medical training or are they mechanically minded? Please also be mindful of the characters limits, for instance if they are a high-school science teacher they might be able to fix some simple circuitry, but fixing a hospital X-Ray machine is probably beyond them]

Samples:

Third Person Sample: [Please link to the test drive meme if you have posted there with your character. Any string of interactions where your character has replied at least ten times is welcome. However if the tags are short, we may need to ask for more. Alternatively, please write a third-person sample of at least 300 words about anything other than the character's arrival in London. For instance, going scavenging for something your character just can't live without they have to have the new issue of Spiderman somewhere in this town, right?]

First Person Sample: [As above, please provide a sample of 200+ words about anything other than the character's arrival in London. Save that for the comms!]

Character Details:

Character name: Felicity Smoak
Fandom/Series/OC:Arrow Post season 3

History:Felicity Smoak
Personality:
Felicity Megan Smoak is an intelligent hard-working, ambitious young woman. She however, is not the type of woman to flaunt it. Her intelligence is somewhat understated, although she seems personally affronted when someone says she can't do something.

She is also highly confident in her computer skills often undertaking special projects for Walter and Oliver. Shrinking away from danger are not words that are in Felicity's vocabulary. She loves A good mystery, This is especially apparent when she undertakes trying to find out what is in Moira Queen's seemingly blank notebook.

She is highly intelligent but incredibly insecure with her position at Queen Consolidated at the start, often questioning whether or not she's about to be fired when she is called into Walter's office. Later on after Sara joins team Arrow, she feels insecure about her place there, going so far as to get shot saving Sara.

Her kindness, compassion, and trustworthiness is what makes Felicity stand out from the rest. It is because of this, that Oliver trusts her with his vigilante secret, Barry, With the fact that he is the Flash, and Ray with the fact he is the Atom. She is a secret keeper to the very end, except when it comes to Barry Allen, her one time crush and best friend. She thought she loved him, but in all honesty they were both in love with other people. Felicity doesn't approve of violence which makes loving Oliver extremely difficult. She doesn't accept some of his choices but loves him anyway even when he left and tried to kill her .

Felicity is a extremely socially awkward, nerdy person, who often babbles when she's nervous. Her babbling usually is of the sexual variety and highly suggestive. Felicity is the queen of the double entendre. When in the presence of an authority figure, or an front of someone she finds attractive her babbling worsens. The only person that seems to be a immune is Barry, who is just as awkward as Felicity and doesn't notice. The humor and babbling that are fundamentals to Felicity's personality are often mistaken for stupidity. She is underestimated and many highly stressful and intense situations. She is the secret weapon of Team Arrow.

Felicity has grown a lot working for Oliver and for Team Arrow. She has more faith in herself then she did when she first began this journey with Oliver. Felicity fled to London, After almost being killed by Oliver. She never wants to go back. She is happy to start a new life in a new city.

Specialist skills: Genius-level intellect, superior memory, card counter, computer specialist, expert hacker, skilled driver, skilled in first aid

Third Person Sample:prose, Prose 2

The lair was quiet, too quiet for Felicity's liking. There was a constant inner monologue that went on in Felicity's head. It was white noise that she had learned to block out. Today, it would be welcome, she would relish and embrace it, but there is nothing. She would even welcome the inappropriate comments, and double entendres, but that was not meant to be. She liked the existence of a packed lair... this... this was just too quiet. He was gone, and she couldn't help but wonder, sitting there spinning in her chair. She couldn't help but wonder if she had done something wrong. Maybe she could have done something different. She would never know. The one thing she did know is that she felt more alone than she ever had.

First Person Sample:action, Action 2, Action 3, Action 4
